5 Yr Anniversary and a new rune library!

This week we'll be celebrating our 5th yr as Mystic Garden!
It's amazing that the shop and library has lasted for as long as it has, so thank you to everyone who's been a customer to use over the years!

To celebrate the anniversary we've opened the new rune library building.
From now until August 13th we'll have extra freebie vendors up at the new building.
Freebies will include free repairs, enchanted apples, grapes of wrath, smoke bombs, engraving tools, treasure maps, bod reward colored clothing, natural dyes, stained rune books, arcane clothing, GM made music instruments, music gears, gold skulls, and more.
Multiple times a day we'll be adding new items, including occasional high end items, so check back often.

The new library is a public crafting center for those who don't have a home on this shard or a big enough home for soul forges and other crafting furniture. There's a kitchen, blacksmith area, tailor area and soul forge. If we don't have something out that you need, please contact me and I'll try to add it.

The library books include resource books such as our large mining collection and resource shopping books. Each different area will also have rune books that match their themes.. i.e. our fishing/cartography area has fishing separated by facet as well as by dungeon.

This week Mystic Garden has applied for a town banner for our little town.
Wish us luck!

We're also continuing work on the rune library upgrades.
So keep an eye out when you're at the library.
Trammel City locations are currently halfway done.

New New New! Monsters that drop Treasure Maps

We've added a few books on monsters that drop treasure maps.
The books are sorted by what level map can be dropped.

So far we've only added Level 6 [Ingeniously] and Level 5 [Deviously]
Other levels will come shortly. You can find these on the third floor of the library.


Also added "So You'd Like To Die" to the various hunting book section.
The book contains some of the more difficult monsters i.e. Yamadons

On the balcony of the main shop building, Three new vendors have popped up.

They have all free or very cheap merchandise. [Nothing over 1500 gold.]

Magical Armor and Jewelry Items can be found here. Along with other items that would be useful to new players. All items are free.

Vendor Two: New Player Shop
Complete sets of tailor crafted armor can be found here. Great for starter armor. These sets are 800 - 1500 gold. Nightsight potions and fishsteaks can also be found.

Vendor Three: Freebies
The stock of this vendor changes daily. Anything can be found here.
Although she always has free musical instruments [Slayers and GM made]

Olympics

We're big hockey fans here at Mystic Garden so we got a little patriotic and released some bears to show it!
Feel free to leave messages, notes, or even other animals supporting your country in the hockey tournament. Just keep it PG and friendly =)

Happy belated Valentines and a Happy St Pattys Day!

We're sorry it's been such a long lapse since an event at the garden, Life has just gotten away from us it seems!
We're trying to keep up stock, hopefully things out of game will calm down enough to allow us to do a better job at this and plan an event. [We already have an event idea and prizes set out, just no time to do it.]

So.. in liu of our event absence we'll be having some St Pattys Day sale items.
This means festive colored decorations for cheap and even free as well as deep discounted sale items that will pop up on all shop vendors between now and St Patricks Day.


Also, We've joined forces with Red and Purple Mini Mall for a new forum - She did all the work really, she was just kind enough to invite us along for the ride. If you own a mall or establishment that's longstanding and would like to be added to the forum then check it out!

We've gotten some new blood at the shop now, So I thought I'd put up a quick note with what some of the new renters are stocking:

We're now going to have a new/returning player guide.

I'll be putting up books on different topics to hopefully help the new players.

First book is all about travel/runes:

-How to tell what facet a rune goes to
-How do I get runes/runebooks?
-Rune colors, what each shards runes will look like once marked
-How to travel (Chivalry, Recalls, Gates)
-Where can I get recall scrolls?
-What are tithing points? How do I get them?
-What are Moongates?
-Am I safe inside towns?

Vet Reward Clothing Exchange

Put up the runes to the trammel and felucca vet reward clothing exchange boxes - you can find them on the front porch of the library in the red and yellow runebook.

Also put up a rune for the event start location for this weekends EM events.

Cloak quests book has been moved to the current event box just inside the front door of the library

Freebies!

Finally starting to get a chance to add some vendors..

Added Halloween Goodies (Freebies)
Will have different items throughout the month depending on what I find/do in game.
Clothing, Decorative items, etc. Will switch to Fall items after halloween.

Also hoping to get a new player vendor up this week.
Cheap/Free armor sets, weapons, and other items new/returning players will need.

I know I was a little slow on this one but now that Treasures of Tokuno is over again, I've put a runebook in its location in front of the library (Behind the return runes vendor) for all the Cloak locations trammel and felucca.

I've decided I'll try my best to keep the most current runebooks on that podium. If you don't find what you need there, look in the current events box just inside the door.

Monsters A - Z Updated!

I've spent the past week updating the Monsters A - Z set on the third floor.
It's gone from originally being 12 runebooks to now being 20.

We've added some felucca locations and just more overall locations for some of the more popular monsters to hunt.

Treasures Of Tokuno

So we've added two books on the pedestal outside the library for hunting spots in Tokuno.

We're currently working to get our new building ready to be open to the public.

It will be a public pub and event center.
Our future events will be held from there and it will be open to the public to be used when we don't have an event!
